Discover Scuba Diving
Designed by PADI as an initiation into the world of scuba diving, this course ensures a thrilling and enjoyable experience in mastering the art of breathing underwater.
We begin with the pool diving introduction. But the real adventure unfolds as participants venture into the ocean off the coast of Cape Town.
Exploring the underwater realm from a gentle beach entry, participants encounter the wonders of scuba diving in the ocean. Depending on ocean conditions, dive locations may include a captivating kelp forest. The forest and reefs serve as hubs for marine life, promising an enriching diving experience. Cape Town's abundant sea life ensures a memorable and fulfilling adventure.
Brief Overview of the Discover Scuba Course
· Duration: 1 day (weather dependent)
· Minimum age requirement: 10 years old
· Complete 1 knowledge review on the day of arrival
· Complete 1 swimming pool skill session
· Complete 1 Open Water Dive (shore dive)

· Only allows you to dive up to 12 meters/or 40 feet WITH a PADI Professional
· Only valid for 14 days
· Skills acquired during this course contribute towards credits for the PADI Open Water Diver Certification, also available in Cape Town through Kelp Divers.
